Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
  • 7 years of experience creating and presenting customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
  • 7 years of experience in consumer and market insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with social media insights data analytics.
  • Experience in product Go-to-Market (GTM) or commercial strategy roles.
  • Expertise in the Brazilian media market, including a sophisticated understanding of the TV ecosystem, viewership trends, and the competitive landscape of local broadcasters and streamers.

As the YouTube Ads Strategy Lead, you will serve as the primary architect for YouTube’s product and business generation strategy in Brazil. Sitting at the intersection of Product and Sales, you function as a Product Lead within a commercial structure, driving the long-term roadmap for how YouTube competes for and wins advertising budgets.

Your strategy will be rooted in a deep, holistic understanding of the platform’s ecosystem—starting from user consumption behavior to inform monetization frameworks. You will be the go-to expert on the Brazilian media landscape, leveraging deep knowledge from traditional TV to social platforms dynamics to position YouTube as the premier choice for advertisers. You will translate complex internal data into actionable business intelligence, crafting the narratives that drive video products adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Centralize YouTube’s business generation strategy in Brazil, acting as the bridge between local sales and global teams.
  • Build a platform outlook based on user behavior, arming sales with data-driven narratives that connect consumption patterns to brand buying strategies.
  • Co-lead the annual plan, prioritizing and communicating Brazil’s business requirements to global product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities, developing strategies to reach business goals.
