Product Strategy and Operations Lead, Emergent AI infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with driving competitive/industry analyses.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, AI Infrastructure (GPUs, TPUs), Cloud, or Enterprise/B2B businesses.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
  • Ability to structure analysis and drive/execute financial/data modeling and using these to derive business insights.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations and build partnerships with executive leaders and their teams across Google.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

About the job

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

The Emergent AI Infrastructure Organization is a part of AI2, responsible for delivering compute Infrastructure to accelerate AI innovation.

In this role you will work closely with the product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, GTM, Finance, Corporate Development, Supply Chain, etc) to develop business-level and product strategies , drive ad-hoc strategic projects, drive strategic planning, and, perform in-depth competitive, pricing and costing analysis to answer important questions on product trends/business performance).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $150000 - $218000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Perform in depth market size competitive analysis, and vertical industry analysis to answer key business questions.
  • Develop commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business cases, and financial models/projections. Build deal specific margin and TCO economics.
  • Lead annual and quarterly end-to-end planning (OKR, ZBB, Headcount, OpEx), translating AI2 priorities into actionable roadmaps while aligning cross-functional partners. 
  • Creation of sales enablement artifacts. Drive RFI responses from customers and partners on emergent infrastructure.
  • Enable the product and engineering leadership to make sound long-term product strategy decisions to meet the needs of GCP.
