Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and flows and electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies.
- 6 years of experience in people management and developing employees on a Physical Design CAD team.
- Experience with Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
- 16 years of experience in physical design CAD.
- Experience with advanced nodes (e.g., 3nm, 2nm).
- Familiarity with design for testability (DFT) methodologies.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques.

- Lead and mentor a team of physical design engineers.
- Drive the development and execution of the physical design flow, from netlist to GDSII.
- Oversee floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization. Perform physical verification, including Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), and timing analysis.
- Collaborate with design, Physical design, IT/infrastructure teams to ensure successful CAD flow.
- Develop and maintain PDCAD methodologies and flows. Evaluate and introduce new CAD tools and technologies including AI/ML.
