Workspace Sales Specialist, Google Cloud (Multiple Languages)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), Productivity, or Collaboration technology solutions to clients.
  • Experience in renewals, account management, sales, or a customer-facing role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Ability to communicate in English/Portuguese and Spanish fluently as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in local government solution selling.
  • Experience securing and growing customer bases, carrying and exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term executive relationships, ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
  • Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based sales activity within complex business cycles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory software estate, build business cases for transformation and implementation plans, and close large, complex agreements.
  • Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and Productivity and Collaboration.

About the job

In this role, you will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will accelerate Google Workspace business growth by engaging with our clients, building internal/external alignment, and managing opportunities in an overlay model to the Field Sales organization. You will also prospect, qualify, develop, and facilitate Google Workspace opportunities for growth through cloud driven business transformation. You will build a pipeline and work with account teams to create customer solutions and drive agreements. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on expanding existing accounts and support new customers in Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), focusing on Brazilian Government Accounts.
  • Be a point of contact for the SMB Education team, for new and existing accounts.
  • Work with wider Google Account teams, such as Field Sales Representatives, Customer Engineers, Program team and Partner managers to generate and develop business growth.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Work closely with Google Partners to scale demand generation and maximize business results in the territory. Provide guidance to develop campaigns to drive pipeline, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
