- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in business development in the Consumer Electronics, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- 4 years of experience handling negotiations.
- 3 years of experience in tech or media industry.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience growing in ambiguous environments, with the ability to present distilled key business agreement issues to executive management when appropriate.
- Knowledge of YouTube and Google products and the industries they operate within.
- Ability to prioritize against numerous engaging priorities and self-initiative.
- Excellent people management and communication skills with the ability to provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, entrepreneurial, and problem solving skills and effective attention to detail, with the ability to be highly collaborative and intellectually curious.
About the job
In this role, you will lead YouTube's distribution, strategic marketing and technology licensing partnerships and will help drive growth across multiple subscription products including YouTube TV, Primetime Channels and NFL Sunday Ticket by identifying and closing strategic partnerships that generate new subscriptions and secure partnerships that aid in the product development process. You will understand the current media landscape, defining and structuring strategic partnerships, discussing agreements and exemplary partner management. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify and execute business agreements to accelerate growth, while developing relationships with external partners for YouTube subscription products including YouTube TV, Primetime Channels and NFL Sunday Ticket. You will work in the changing area of over the top (OTT) subscription services. You will know how to assess partnership opportunities, define a strategy and work closely with the Product Managers and other stakeholders to drive first-of-a kind partnerships that help to evolve the business.

Responsibilities
- Structure partnerships, draft terms and lead agreements on behalf of YouTube subscription services.
- Lead amidst cross-functional, organizational and industry complexity, and bring open issues to resolution.
- Become a domain expert and thought leader in your coverage area.
- Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to key stakeholders, drive ideas to execution.
