Lab Manager, Augmented Reality Hardware

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in lab management with electrical, optics, camera, display and mechanical engineering
  • 3 years of experience in working on planning and executing lab infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work separately and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to work under ambiguity, pressure and schedules.
  • Excellent cross-functional project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize and maintain laboratory equipment for Electrical, Optical, Camera, Display, and Mechanical engineering
  • Maintain equipments and infrastructures in good health with periodic calibration and other proactive processes with adequate documentation
  • Purchase assistance for lab and person needs, ticket submission and other lab change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Manage laboratory budget, purchasing of equipment, and inventory control.
