As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business.
In this role you will be responsible for building and managing a team that will manage the delivery by third parties of mission critical power generation and power infrastructure assets that will power Google's mission critical data centers. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on project schedules, variances to schedule, and take any and all steps, including agreement discussion and amendments, to ensure a delivery of critical infrastructure that is as on time and on budget as possible. You will intake projects from the commercial structuring team and track them until successful delivery, at which time they will be handed off to the agreement management team for operational oversight. You will manage a team of regional leads and external consultants to ensure this work is covered while also working very closely with internal partner teams ranging from engineering to supply chain to real estate to construction, finance and legal.
