Account Manager, Media Platform Industry (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, business consultative, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Ads account management.
  • Experience in online Ad business, business-development, marketing, or business consulting.
  • Ability to complete a large volume of high quality work.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organization and communication skills.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As an Account Manager on the Media Platform Industry team, you will develop and manage relationships directly with advertisers in Japan. You will multi-task in a fluid environment. You will focus on digital transformation in large Ad spenders with high potential in Large Customer Sales (LCS). You will help grow existing business, develop and win new business with global and domestic clients, and support the team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
  • Optimize Google Ads in order to maximize results for advertisers.
