Vendor Management Solutions Consultant, Google Cloud (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in consulting, operations, or vendor strategy and management.
  • 3 years of experience in vendor sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations and contracting.
  • Experience in multi vendor operations management for scaled operations and vendor relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience engaging with executive vendor account leaders.
  • Experience in operational or sourcing capacity for Machine Learning data operations, content review, annotations, and ratings.
  • Understanding of service contracts and statements of work for outsourced operations.
  • Ability to influence and engage with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development and execution of the vendor strategy, sourcing, vendor selection, discussions, and contracting for Machine Learning (ML) Data compute operations including Human evals and ratings. 
  • Develop scalable cost optimal operating models and service capabilities, including gig based delivery models for both time bound research projects as well as on going long-term evals for ML data operations. 
  • Manage the overall relationship with the CoreML business and engineering teams and engage and collaborate with teams across Google to drive results.
  • Drive supplier performance around service quality and value addition through structured governance and performance measurement mechanisms.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver scalable solutions and run operational initiatives across the globe to scale and transform services, while measuring the business impact of those solutions in order to provide insights to leadership and inform further innovation.
