Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in International rewards (Compensation or Benefits), Canadian Regulations and compliance requirements including leaves and absences.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management, or managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented with proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and inform key decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive audiences to convey complex information clearly and succinctly through presentations, written communications, and verbal articulation.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Draw interpretable insights from data analysis and provide data-driven strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks and record their evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand work problems and program goals, and communicate program vision and objectives to stakeholders.
  • Establish and track processes, hold stakeholders accountable for following processes, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
