Senior Product Manager, AI Operations, Google Distributed Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience with managing production deployments across the key facets of operations, support, deployment, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Knowledge of AI and agentic technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI infrastructure (GPUs), virtualization, containerization, with experience building infrastructure products.
  • Ability to analyze market and customer data, interpret data sets, and use insights to drive product strategy and decisions.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and written/verbal communication skills.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Product Manager, you will define and design GDC strategy. You will work with internal and external partners on technical requirements and deliver the right foundational platform, training, and partner capabilities for the distributed cloud. You will be responsible for collaborating with different product teams to build the right availability features at different layers including of the entire solution stack.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term idea, strategy, and roadmap for the GDC operations as a product improving the daily life of GDC operators powered with AI.
  • Collaborate with customers to define product requirements and architecture for the operators in the public sector space, prioritize features, and oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to landing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate them into product improvements.
  • Identify and address technical risks, infrastructure issues, and scaling challenges.
  • Work with various teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and other stakeholders to ensure product execution.
