Agency Activation Lead, Connected TV

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising or digital advertising.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • 10 years of experience at an Advertising Agency, TV, Programmatic or Digital Investment Firm.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience with programmatic sales (specifically with exchanges).
  • Experience meeting/exceeding business goals.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Exchange Platforms team mission is to enable third-party real-time bidding (RTB) Agency Buyer growth by providing scalable, consistent, and durable paths to accessing Google Partner inventory in real time.
Connected TV (CTV) is a big bet for Google as it is one of the fastest growing parts of the Programmatic Ads business.

As an Agency Activation Lead, you will catalyze and bring thought leadership to a broader strategic growth project within CTV. You will bring experience, ideas, and broad Agency relationships to help us effectively grow our CTV business by investing more with Agencies and customizing our inventory supply to meet their areas of demand.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate CTV growth across the exchange in EMEA by clearly articulating our value proposition and by enabling the Agency Sales team to sell exchange inventory to Agency Operating Companies (OpCos).
  • Act as a trusted consultant to guide Agency OpCo budget owners on the CTV landscape and growth strategy, advising on needs and opportunities.
  • Source and lead holding company partnership proposals via Agency OpCo Relationships maintaining deep understanding of the needs of the holding company landscape, especially on CTV. Lead business pitches and promote expansion campaigns with OpCo stakeholders.
  • Act as CTV thought leader and attend and present at relevant in-market industry events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve CTV processes, tools and pitch proposals and share ecosystem feedback with the broader Sellside team.
