Strategic Partner Manager, Responsibility, YouTube (English, Bahasa Indonesia)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, media, global affairs, communications or policy.
  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing relationships with KOFs, public figures, political leaders, or civic organizations.
  • Experience in designing and executing engagement plans including events, campaigns, or thought leadership initiatives with KOFs.
  • Knowledge of political, social, and cultural shifting, with the ability to navigate stakeholder environments across the political spectrum.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work with policy, marketing, communications, and content teams to support shared goals.
  • Excellent judgment skills with managing topics around elections, public health, misinformation, and civic integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to onboard and grow adoption of YouTube among civic partners including political leaders, government agencies, Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) and Key Opinion Formers (KOFs).
  • Design and execute accelerator initiatives that educate civics partners on content strategies and responsible platform use.
  • Communicate YouTube’s responsibility efforts (e.g., misinformation, elections integrity, content policies) to civic partners and build trust in the platform.
  • Partner with Government Affairs and Public Policy, Marketing and Creator teams to align strategies and messaging across civic initiatives.
  • Develop relationships across the political and civic ecosystem, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant for partners. Track partner engagement and impact, provide feedback and optimize support to achieve civic impact and platform integrity goals.
