Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders to architect, develop, or maintain cloud solutions in cloud environments.
- 3 years of experience managing technical teams, or serving as a team lead or mentor for technical teams.
- Experience leading technical conversations with customer stakeholders or managing escalations.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
- Experience managing teams focused on cloud operations, SRE, or technical account management.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, support, product) to drive customer outcomes.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., Networking, IAM, Compute, Storage) and operational frameworks (e.g., ITIL, DevOps, SRE).
- Ability to attract and develop talent, with a track record of coaching team members to improve performance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.

Google Cloud Consulting ensures that our customers adopt and integrate Google Cloud’s technology to transform their businesses. As a Manager for the Technical Account Management team, you will lead a team of technical advisors who serve as the link between Google Cloud and our customers.
You will lead and coach a team of technical advisors dedicated to ensuring customers derive value from their Google Cloud investments. You will drive a culture of proactive advisory, guiding your team to focus on platform health, architectural stability, and operational efficiency. You will empower your technical advisors to serve as technical partners who align Google Cloud’s capabilities with their customers' business objectives, engaging with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to Site Reliability Engineers and developers.
In this role, you will advocate technical precision and operations across customers' Google Cloud footprints. You will build partnerships with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Engineering leadership to accelerate the adoption of architecture standards and elevate platform stability. Additionally, you will collaborate with peer leaders to scale practices, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes success and improvement across the global regions.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer delivery obligations for the Technical Account Manager role, and identify and propose additional Technical Account Manager value added service opportunities.
- Support cloud adoption blocker removal, lead feature request processes, and work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed for customers.
- Build relationships with business teams, and work with regional Google Cloud Consulting portfolio leads and team members to support strategy and lead customer success initiatives.
- Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with support, engineers, and site reliability engineers to ensure customer success, and work with customers and support to guide issues and escalations to resolution.
- Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate Google Cloud adoption.
