Senior Account Executive, LCS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a complex business, sales pipeline, or collaborating with client stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of performance or brand marketing tactics and strategy. Experience in direct to consumer marketing (DTC). Experience in Retail Marketing or previous client experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting both internally and externally. Demonstrated tactical and problem-solving approach to building client relationships and presenting solutions.
  • Excellent tactical and investigative sales approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities separately.

As an Account Executive, you will represent The Google Way of Selling in both internal and customer settings. This includes managing relationships with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders, including the need to be proactive, multi-task in a fluid, ambiguous environment. You will help generate actionable insights and measured results.

You consider yourself a 'relationship seller' aiming to expand the client partnerships, most of which are mature and positive, but are looking to their Google team for new and innovative ways to navigate the changing customer landscape.

You are an advisor and consultant, as well as a client/team advocate within Google. You are responsible for collaborating with the team to achieve tactical goals for the account/sector also you will develop their selling skills and to be part of an exceptional team and culture.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how
Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be a positive and collaborative team player.
    Build and nurture relationships with clients and agencies, understand their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics. Balance proactive service with reactive communication.
  • Drive advertising and business growth by developing data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals. Identify and quantify new opportunities, while maximizing current initiatives with the team by showcasing how Google's solutions deliver results.
  • Lead the accounts and work separately and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including specialist teams, HOI and Leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards, while adhering to Google best practices.
  • Understand Google Advertising products (performance and video), possess presentation and communication skills to effectively articulate their value and impact to clients.
