Senior Sales Manager, Retail, Large Customer Sales (English, German)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development.
  • Experience in partnering with clients in the digital ads market.
  • Experience in a people management role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading teams with commercial coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of advertising solutions and media landscape online and offline.
  • Knowledge of Search and Video product landscape and promoting approaches.
  • Ability to operate in an environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, deliver and execute on operational aspects of the business.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and decision-makers.

In this role, you will be creating and developing the strategies in collaboration with the in-country leadership team, in order to deliver growth across the Retail vertical and core categories; while continuing the partnership with clients and coaching sellers. You will align with the team to develop these strategies and help support them deliver sustainable growth for their customers. You will take the lead for driving in-quarter business growth and operational excellence across Retail pods, and follow-up on opportunities for Customers in support of the Large Customer Sales (LCS) motivation for business. You will need to anticipate where the market and products are moving and develop plans to best position Google for that future.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against assigned business growth goals and overall business metrics. Coach on expansion business, implementation and measurement to ensure that quarterly goals are met and the key plans are in place and recovery plans are implemented.
  • Manage, inspire and motivate a team of employees. Be the coach for the team through client tests to deliver commercial outcomes. Embed a engaging mindset in the team.
  • Establish relationships cross-functionally; partner with business management and other business areas to identify and develop opportunities. Develop the execution strategy in cooperation with executive in-country counterparts.
  • Identify process improvement areas and solutions, share and encourage best practices across both local and in-country Large Customer Sales teams.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance; Develop plans for customers. Ensure that quarterly regional plans, regional business plans are in place.
