Analytical Consultant (Fixed-Term Contract) (English)

This Fixed-Term Contract is effective from September 2025 through December 2026 (16 months), with the position located in Germany.Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Hamburg, Germany; Berlin, Germany; Munich, Germany.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations, creating and delivering insights-based presentations or business cases that align with customer objectives.
  • Experience in data analyses and visualization (Google Sheets and Slides), scripting (SQL) and Dashboard development (Looker Studio).
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with client-facing work, with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Experience working as an Analytical Consultant or similar analytical, data roles.
  • Experience in advertising from either the advertiser, agency or other media owner side.
  • Experience to work with multiple stakeholder and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders internally and externally across all levels
  • Ability to analyze datasets and translate them into insights that are presented in an engaging story.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses for the high-priority customers to uncover hidden opportunities to optimize their online advertising Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Consult with clients, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations that align with their business goals.
  • Improve processes by developing reusable templates, dashboards and scripts. Develop engaging narratives to deliver insights for customers.
  • Enable clients and partners by creating internal dashboards and reports to share insights and by delivering training and guidance on using Google's data tools and APIs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive outcomes for clients.
