Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in image processing, video processing, object detection, segmentation, classification, or related algorithms.
  • Experience in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud-based Machine Learning platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Vertex Platform).
  • Experience with computer vision algorithms and tools (e.g., OpenCV), image and video processing.
  • Experience working with models that combine vision and language understanding, such as CLIP, ALIGN, or similar.
  • Knowledge of large language models, their architecture, training methodologies, and fine-tuning techniques.

As a Google Cloud Vision AI expert, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, understanding the client's unique image and video processing needs. You'll collaborate to design and implement tailored solutions using Google Cloud's Vision AI capabilities such as Imagen and Gemini, and help integrate these solutions into the client's existing workflows, optimize performance and scalability, and provide technical resources for success. You will also advocate for Vision AI within Google Cloud, ensuring that our Vision AI offerings continuously evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the versatility of Google Cloud's Vision AI by guiding customers on integrating Google Cloud's Vision AI capabilities (e.g., Imagen, Gemini Vision, etc.) into their existing workflows and applications.
  • Assist customers in fine-tuning and customizing pre-trained models to meet their specific use cases (e.g., object detection, image classification, video analysis).
  • Create and deliver technical content (best practices, tutorials, code samples, presentations) to enable customers and internal teams to effectively utilize Google Cloud's Vision AI offerings.
  • Represent Google Cloud's Vision AI through proof-of-concept projects, demos, and workshops.
  • Travel to customer locations and represent Google Cloud at conferences, meetups, and other industry events to share knowledge, network with peers, and stay current on the latest trends in computer vision and image/video processing.
