Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • Experience leading a team, managing business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or goal setting.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders at a technology or enterprise company.
  • Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience managing a multi-layered team in go-to-market strategy, data-driven analysis, or operational initiatives, and fostering career development, including performance management, prioritizing team deliverables, and managing sensitive information.
  • Experience leveraging analytical skills (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.) to problem solve, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by the audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that generate results and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise and Small and Medium Businesses
    (SMB) customers, cloud technologies, products and market landscape.
  • Experience in people management.

About the job

The Cloud Applications Go-to-Market (GTM) team is developing and executing a GTM strategy that stretches across the Google Cloud Apps business.

In this role, you will work closely with GTM leaders within the Cloud Apps portfolio, the Cloud Apps GTM team influences GTM strategies within Google Workspace and Applied AI. You will be responsible for maintaining alignment with the broader Cloud Apps objectives, measuring results, and helping create and execute on Point of Views (POV) that will enhance the GTM motions.

You will lead a multi-layered team responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for driving planning, goal setting, organizational design, expansion plans and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a Strategy and Operations team to create strategic and operational consistency across the organization, driving strategic initiatives with continuous coaching and mentorship.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the organization and their leadership team, communicating, structuring, and problem solving business tests and supporting organization priorities.
  • Facilitate goal setting, tracking and performance measurement of the business, and work on plans to address weaknesses and help drive processes to exceed goals consistently.
  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing business plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations.
  • Drive and land end-to-end organizational strategy and optimization for the Cloud GTM organization, including annual planning, in-year optimizations, budget adjustments, resource allocation, market segmentation, and operating models.
