Technical Solutions Consultant, gTech Publishers

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the ad serving industry and internet technologies.
  • Experience with Android development.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and convey them to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.

About the job

gTech Publishers team is responsible for supporting and growing Google's business with customers by providing support for Google's suite of sell-side products (e.g., AdMob, Google Ad Manager).

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms or product partnerships.

In this role, you will be a part of the gTech team supporting Google's SellSide business, engage with mobile app developers, news publishers, and broadcasters in the industry, work with these companies to deliver publisher business growth, and influence product strategy and design. You’ll be working with the sales teams as the technical consultant on ad business generation products to help Publishers build and grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Help partners in their day-to-day challenges by delivering innovative and scalable solutions to their problems, troubleshooting their issues, and performing implementation reviews.
  • Advocate new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Represent clients’ feedback on features to product management and engineering to improve product offerings.
  • Ensure client satisfaction in terms of technical aspects by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
