Security Sales Specialist, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of enterprise sales experience in cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise software, focused on agreements.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity or cloud security solutions (e.g., identity, data security, threat detection, zero trust) to enterprise customers.
  • Experience supporting customers in Qatar across public sector or regulated industries, including local compliance and procurement.
  • Experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders (e.g., CISO, CIO, CTO) to drive security transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles, including solution positioning, business case development, and contract negotiation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading security-led digital transformation initiatives across cloud platforms, including AI/ML security, data protection, and modern architectures.
  • Experience structuring and closing large, strategic, multi-year agreements with complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience partnering with GSIs, MSSPs, and ISVs to co-sell solutions.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity trends, including zero trust, sovereign cloud, AI risk, and regional compliance.
  • Ability to build and scale territories from inception, including pipeline creation, executive relationships, and expansion.
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic fluently in this customer-facing sales role.

As a Security Sales Specialist supporting our security portfolio (User Protection Services, VirusTotal, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Security Command Center), you will drive growth of our cybersecurity business by developing strategic relationships with new and existing enterprise customers.

In this role, you will partner with CISOs, security leaders, and executive stakeholders to define and execute security transformation strategies across cloud and hybrid environments. You will position Google Cloud’s security capabilities to address evolving threats, including identity-based attacks, data exfiltration, and risks associated with AI-driven workloads. You will lead complex, consultative sales cycles, articulating clear business value, demonstrating differentiated product capabilities, and aligning solutions to customer use cases and regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams across sales, customer engineering, product, and partners to deliver cohesive, outcome-driven engagements. You will build trusted advisor relationships, lead with a deep understanding of the customer’s threat landscape, and identify opportunities to expand adoption across security domains.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, managing business cycles, identifying solution use cases, and influencing long-term direction of accounts.
  • Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting your territory’s business.
  • Work with Google accounts and cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, close agreements, understand the customer, and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
  • Construct and execute an effective territory development plan.
  • Work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, performers, and how they can transform their business using our technologies.
