Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or strategy and operations activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders, leveraging data analysis and generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience leveraging problem solving skills (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.) to influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

As a Practice Go-To-Market Strategy and Operations Manager for Google Cloud, you will operate as a business partner to the practice director. You will be responsible for defining, landing, and executing on key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity within a specific Go-to-Market practice area. This includes providing subject matter expert point of view to planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, and managing the rhythm of the business activities for the Sales Specialist team. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives, with the goal of aligning company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolving early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage full Go-To-Market practice area business rhythms and all sales operations functions, including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and territory design, supporting the annual planning cycle as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Design robust and scalable processes to minimize inefficiencies, continually measuring and improving the business performance of the Sales Specialist team driving the sales plays by identifying trends and opportunities to optimize resource allocation.
  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and actionable analytical insights to increase productivity.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your organization and their leadership team, communicating, structuring, and problem-solving complex and ambiguous business challenges and supporting organization priorities.
  • Work with cross-functional organizations within Google Cloud to drive alignment and collaboration on the execution and achievement of key business goals.
