Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with the software development life cycle and launched commercial products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Familiarity with the Ads product area/business.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and self-supporting.
  • Strong communication skills with high attention to detail and firm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence a set of stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Measurement is a keystone of performance advertising which drives the majority of Google Ads business growth. Accurate and unbiased measurement ensures bidding engines can maximize advertiser Return on Investment (ROI), leading to both advertisers and Google business growth. Our team works on Ad measurement solutions and growth initiatives.

Ads Measurement continues to be in a period of evolution, driven by changes in data volume available through digital transactions, AI/ML technological advancements to consume and process data, and a shift in consumer behavior, across multiple channels and digital formats.

Privacy Centric Measurement (PCM) is a cross-functional team across Ads working together on products, features, and infrastructure that deliver value to advertisers and publishers while preserving user privacy.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex software features and releases.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks across multiple work streams and teams.
  • Use leadership, product and technical judgment to drive program delivery, working closely with engineering, product management and other partner teams.
  • Lead the creation of integrated timelines and schedules, track the progress, manage dependencies, proactively identify and communicate risks, and identify mitigations.
  • Interface with other product and engineering teams within Ads to develop actionable plans to coordinate launch needs of the entire product area.
