Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with core IT processes such as monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with VMware, VMC and other virtualization technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or other technical field.
  • Understanding cloud-based infrastructure architectures (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ability to deliver engaging technical presentations to large audiences, demonstrating strong public speaking skills and deep technical expertise.
  • Excellent business acumen aligned to strategic IT initiatives like cloud
    migrations and digital transformation.

About the job

As an Infrastructure Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Google Cloud's core infrastructure, supporting a wide range of customer workloads running on Google Cloud Infrastructure. You will work to optimize existing infrastructure, design and implement improvements, and provide technical expertise to ensure seamless operations focused specifically on VMware migrations to Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute scalable business campaigns that enable seamless migration or creation of new infrastructure intensive applications to Google Cloud, minimizing disruption and maximizing performance, reliability and cost savings.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering deep VMware and Infrastructure expertise and strategic insights to address customer challenges and unlock the full potential of Google Cloud.
  • Drive customer value by collaboratively designing and implementing scalable Google Cloud AI Infra Solutions, leading strategic migrations, and showcasing AI Infrastructure capabilities through compelling business demonstrations.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of Google Cloud's offerings, incorporating customer insights and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Build relationships with customers and partners, ensuring their Infrastructure workloads grow Google Cloud through proactive support and continuous optimization.
