Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management, management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory.
  • Experience in Public Sector business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience delivering programs.
  • Understanding of public sector customer requirements, cloud products and solutions.
  • Ability to manage high-visibility communication effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus.

Google Public Sector's (GPS) Technology, Strategy, and Delivery (TS&D) Department works to enable efficient and secure operations, data-driven insights, and continuous adaptation and improvement of business solutions to ensure the successful execution of GPS's mission to bring the magic of Google to the mission of government and education.

In this role, you will report to the Chief of Staff and coordinate across GPS and global commercial cloud sales and StratOps to think through and implement governance structures and policies to push accountability and clarity for GPS’s role in public sector agreements around the world. You will communicate about the structures and policies clearly across many cross-functional stakeholders. You will be included in managing the Global Public Sector Steerco, evaluating its efficacy regularly to ensure its usefulness and making adjustments as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Assess global public sector agreement delivery to understand gaps and cross-functional issues.
  • Create a policy and repeatable framework for GPS’s role in these agreements.
  • Create cross-functional communication channels to share best practices and collectively problem solve across functions and regions.
  • Drive alignment and get buy-in from executives in multiple organizations on governance.
