Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, online media, online retail, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in the UK and Ireland market, working with UKI clients or digital advertising agencies.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to own sales team operations: portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution.
  • Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, engaged selling.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Passion for consultative solution selling with a drive to innovate.
  • Ability to work independently, takes initiative, who thrives on immersion in a fluid environment, with effective communication, problem-solving and investigative skills.

Consulting with a wide variety of existing advertising companies of all sizes, you are committed to finding the optimal advertising solution for each client. Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables brands to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

The Accelerated Growth Team (AGT) is designed to grow Google Ads investments of Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) with significant expansion potential. AGT specializes in building full funnel strategies to increase customers return on investment, scale customers' business base, and ultimately make businesses grow.

In this role, you will lead a team of talented Accelerated Growth Consultants who cultivate their skill for digital marketing, business growth, solution promoting, and consulting with clients. You will be coaching and developing the team with your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and problem solving abilities. You will be a role model for customer-centric sales and engage with the highest potential SMB advertisers directly.

You will also collaborate with the engaged and passionate Account Management Sales teams and managers to devise strategies and global AGT teams to shape management best practice for this model.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
  • Deliver against ambitious business growth goals and grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of SMBs in an assigned market.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent CRM tracking.
  • Coach and model sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
  • Lead and strengthen executive-level relationships through key C-level meetings, business reviews, and speaking engagements.
