Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional partnership initiatives with a significant impact on business outcomes.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing executive executives.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms and building consensus.

We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with a track record of leading executive-level partnerships strategies, who works cross-functionally to lead change and drive impact with our partners and across Google. You will have experience in business development and partnerships, the mindset to identify long-term growth opportunities, and the ability to influence a cross-functional team to deliver against their goals. This Top Partner Manager should be an excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to partner CxOs and Google senior leaders, and able to quickly understand and operate within our processes, products, and teams to effectively manage our most complex and strategic partnerships.
As a Top Partner Manager and trusted thought partner to our leaders, you will shape how Google engages our partners across industries. With your unique purview across all Google/Alphabet products and services, you'll design a long-term strategy to drive business growth and product priorities for Google while solving for your partners' greatest business issues.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Responsibilities
- Lead cross-Google partnerships with Top Partners and agreement pursuits, including developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders at the partners as well as internally.
- Develop a clear strategy to align Google against the partners’ most pressing objectives and to drive commercial growth and product priorities for Google.
- Lead cross-Product Area (xPA) executive engagement, including preparing briefings for executive Google executives, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment and activation across Google.
- Facilitate and coordinate communities of sales and Business Development (BD) teams working with your partners, creating internal transparency, cohesion, and clear objectives. Act as the internal POC for all Google teams engaging with the partner.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to grow Google’s business in select industries, including developing POVs and xPA playbooks on critical topics and advising executive leaders.
