Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of the Indian payments landscape (UPI, Tokenization, Payment Aggregator/Payment Gateway ecosystems, and RBI compliance).
- Ability to lead Joint Objectives and Key Results across Business development, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing.
- Ability to manage cross-functional dependency legends and translate technical engineering excellence goals into business value.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of payment tracks to expand platform footprint, driving direct on-boarding for marquee merchants while leveraging Payment Aggregator partnerships to expand adoption across the broader mid-market and tail ecosystem.
- Manage the delivery of KYC changes and Payment Aggregator identity profile updates necessitated by new RBI guidelines.
- Support programs to ensure the platform remains fully compliant with evolving central bank (RBI) guidelines and industry standards. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in merchant on-boarding, system migrations, and operational audits to protect core business metrics.
- Work closely with Product and engineering to ensure that market-facing commitments are translated into technical reality.
- Explore and implement new commercial strategies, including the creation of "value exchange" templates for strategic partners. Lead program tracks for emerging commerce trends, including AI-driven (agentic) workflows and next-generation checkout experiences.
