Program Manager III, Balance of Trade and Business Operations, Cloud Supply Chain

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with supplier engagement and category management.
  • Experience in business operations (e.g., rhythm of business, organizational strategy and operational expenditure management etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience building and executing processes and frameworks that span cross-functionally.
  • Experience in briefing executive stakeholders on commercial agreement structures and programs.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, automation to streamline manual processes and ability to synthesize data from cross-functional sources into a structured narrative.
  • Experience aligning teams with engaging incentives, timelines, and challenges (i.e., Supplier Management’s cost savings vs. business growth goals).
  • Ability to grow in a fluid environment and transition between operational execution and executive-level strategy.

The Balance of Trade (BoT) and Business Operations team is at the forefront of Google’s commercial relationships. We don't just buy technology, we build ecosystems. Our mission is to synchronize our massive infrastructure spend with Google Cloud’s growth goals, ensuring that our key partners are also our key customers. By orchestrating these, multi-billion dollar relationships, we maximize the value of every agreement and drive growth for the entire organization. Google is looking for a Program Manager to lead our BoT framework and drive Business Operations for a 500+ person organization (including Global Manufacturing Operations, Equipment Supply Chain, and Sustainability). You will serve as a programmatic lead responsible for the commercial integration between Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) Equipment Global Manufacturing Operations Supplier Management teams and Cloud Sales.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Supply Chain leadership to identify, prioritize, and maintain a list of BoT suppliers.
  • Coordinate BoT efforts, creating standardized templates and leverage AI-driven tools to enhance information delivery to leadership.
  • Develop and program manage a framework that provides visibility into upcoming agreement milestones, renewals, and leverage points to be used in negotiations.
  • Serve as the resident subject-matter-expert on BoT processes, challenge teams on negotiation sequencing to drive alignment.
  • Drive the program management of projects that touch and may span across supply chain functions - leveraging best practices, driving timelines or deliverables, and communicating with stakeholders on updates, risks and help needed.
