Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Enterprise Software

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Expereince utilizing Applied AI in product development
  • Experience working in an enterprise technology setting, bringing both demonstrated expertise in SaaS around unified communications, content and collaboration, meetings, as well as a nuanced understanding of the cloud market and competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior

About the job

As the Director of Outbound Product Management and Customer Success for Applied AI, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who owns GTM strategy and interactions, including the external roadmap for the product, competitive differentiation, and customer lifecycles for strategic accounts. Partnering closely with product management, product marketing and the GTM organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing all go-to-market activities that drive business performance and customer satisfaction.

From a leadership perspective, in this position you will lead, manage, and mentor a team of highly talented Outbound Product Managers to develop compelling product value propositions, including pricing, packaging and channel. You will also lead an experienced team of Customer Success architects and consultants to ensure outstanding technical implementations and long-term continued growth for our most strategic customers.

You will be laser focused on putting our customers first. Intuitively anticipating their needs before they even arise, you will be able to go beyond standard market research to predict where the market is trending and where future opportunities lie. Utilizing insights and data to influence product strategy and investment, you will help scale products from the ground-up, organize product launches, and create a repeatable go-to-market process.

Working cross-functionally, you will drive alignment across the sales, product management, engineering, and product marketing functions to deliver solutions for the customer. Gathering customer insights and feedback, you will infuse this learning back into the organization and product area roadmap, ensuring effective product launches and differentiated features. In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted advisor for large/strategic customers, building customer relationships.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with large strategic customers to advise on upcoming product developments, including incubating new products and ideating on CES strategy. 
  • Define business goals, audiences, buyer’s journey, strategy, solutions, positioning, key tactics, budget and dependencies, and then drive cross-functional consensus and enlistment to deliver business results.
  • Create product demos and presentations for prospective customers, identify technology-driven strategies for customers and/or partner success and operational efficiency, plan, design, and deploy technical solutions.
  • Interact with Analysts (at a product level), regularly speak/participate at customer advisory councils, conferences, user groups, meetups, run hackathons (with Dev Rel).
  • Partner with solution-specialists at product-level to drive requirements for vertical and/or horizontal solutions (often require multiple products coming together). Assist Training/Enablement teams to train most technical sellers (PSO, CEs, Solution Architects).
