Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of business experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience leading a business team or developing business professionals.
  • Experience building a book of business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with regional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • People management experience.
  • Independent and motivated to work on immersion in a rapidly changing environment, with effective communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

The GCS team drives growth for small and medium businesses advertising with Google, targeting SPLA potential. We specialize in efficient solutions for clients at all stages, maximizing business scale.

As Sales Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team, leveraging strong sales skills to understand advertiser needs and deliver measurable growth solutions. You'll manage customer relationships across verticals and business models, from startups to mature businesses, setting them up for sustained success with Google's digital ad solutions. You'll empower your team to achieve ambitious revenue and productivity targets.

Your will shape client growth, collaborate with sales leadership to set strategic objectives, and manage daily operations. Sales Managers actively support their teams and directly engage with clients for comprehensive service.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
  • Deliver against ambitious revenue targets, grow engagement and client satisfaction for small and medium businesses in the SPLA market.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent tracking.
  • Model and coach sales behaviors: including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
