Executive Operations Lead, GTM AI, JAPAC

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in customer-facing roles within sales, consulting, or engineering.
  • 3 years of experience working with internal executive leadership, executive customers, or partner leaders.
  • Experience leading teams to achieve outcomes without direct authority, including partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience transforming ambiguous goals into impactful and measurable programs, leveraging program management skills.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally to develop and implement new processes.
  • Google Cloud technical experience, with an understanding of Google Cloud product and solution stack and the ability to constructively advise and counsel executive leadership.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software go-to-market strategies and sales methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to influence executive stakeholders in a boardroom environment and manage without authority.

In this role, you will be part of the AI GTM Office which supports our global and regional sales and technical executives, aligned to the Managing Director of AI GTM sales Japan and Asia-Pacific (JAPAC) at Google Cloud. You will be a key thought, strategy, and execution partner for the leadership team. This role will have operational components, and you will require flexing across both types of work streams including rhythm of the business, partnering across various functions. You will be leading and contributing to the growth, development and overall health of the organization and will take initiative to execute.

You will need to be humble, inquisitive, and able to move fast. This is an opportunity to work within a team with high visibility at Google as you will engage with many different stakeholders - in Cloud, across Google, externally and more. Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and execute the executive customer engagement strategy for the Managing Director to drive the business impact, aligning the executive to the customers at the right time.
  • Manage customer engagement strategy at Google’s marquee events, including developing invitation lists and managing onsite meeting schedules.
  • Oversee and resolve all executive engagement priorities and requests.
  • Drive a predictable cadence of customer office rhythm of the business activities to maintain coordination on priority status, resolve open items, and report on impact.
  • Develop processes to evaluate and execute executive engagement requests, including field visit schedules and briefing development, in partnership with cross-functional teams. Shape briefings for the Managing Director for external engagements in partnership with sales and product teams. Work closely with account teams to shape the Managing Director’s engagement and leverage a network of specialists and experts.
