Technical Curriculum Developer, Security, Cloud Learning Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • 4 years of experience in collaborating with technical subject matter experts to develop training content and curricula.
  • 4 years of experience in designing and developing learning solutions in various formats.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect or familiarity with Google Cloud Infrastructure Modernization solutions.
  • 2 years of experience in coding or scripting in one of the following languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Go, Ruby, C#, Javascript, Perl, PowerShell, or Unix/Linux shells).
  • Experience in camtasia, articulate rise, adobe captivate, or similar e-learning development tools.
  • Experience in creating or managing lab activities.
  • Knowledge of direct experience with security cloud computing technologies, including DevSecOps practices, cloud security monitoring tools, cloud threat intelligence and analysis tools, and cloud identity and access solutions.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles (e.g., Cloud Administrator, Cloud Solutions Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, IT Manager). You will translate technical content into learning content and curricula. You will have a grasp of cloud computing technologies and learning and development tools and principles (e.g., instructional design). You will keep your technical skills and aspire to be a technical leader in the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive Google Cloud technologies and understand the services and developing training for our customers. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject-matter experts and partners in the development process.
  • Design and develop creative learner-centered training content and curriculum in multiple modalities, including instructor led training, on-demand interactive e-learning, videos, labs, job aides, facilitator guides, and resource materials.
  • Perform task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across multiple global locations.
  • Be responsive to the fluid nature of innovation and analysis content in a structured manner.
