Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role.
  • 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights.
  • 7 years of experience developing operational process solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and Operations Six Sigma.
  • 7 years of experience using data analysis to drive decision making.
  • 7 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience in data center equipment environments or computer component manufacturing with the knowledge of SQL, analytics or other relevant operations coursework.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to apply structured thinking and logic to your work and provide solutions to challenges.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust and Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

As the Trust and Safety Incubation Manager, you will find solutions that enable scale. You will ensure minimum viable products are delivered prior to scaling across our global operations. You will be involved in leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large platform migrations and new releases. In this role, you will help build lasting frameworks and processes to build for scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute incubation projects (e.g., setting up experiments, tool testing and incubation, policy incubation and classifier training efforts).
  • Define success criteria, lead and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams, manage schedules/risks, and manage key performance indicator reporting.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communications and manage change.
  • Recommend and make data driven decisions to identify and fix enforcement gaps and subjectivity.
  • Make business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis, etc.) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
