Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Google Play (English, Bahasa Indonesia)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently to support client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or a related advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience in Partnerships, Go-to-Market (GTM), or Marketing with managing cross-functional projects.
  • Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) app economy and ecosystem, verticals/categories, and business models (e.g., Ads, In App Purchases (IAP), Subscriptions).
  • Ability to work with external partners to develop co-promotion or cross-promotion strategies.
  • Excellent investigative skills with the ability to analyze business data to generate insights and recommendations for clients.

About the job

In this role, you will work in a changing environment. You will navigate Google processes, products, and teams, and will be managing important partnerships for Google. You will work with partners in Indonesia, and partners across the region. You will manage the relationships with partners, execute agreements, and track impact, enabling Google Play to be successful. You will possess skills in relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Drive partner engagement and relationships by tracking business metrics and insights, building business forecasts, and delivering quality business consulting to grow the partner's business on Google Play. Ensure strong brand/reputation management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders/teams (e.g., Go-to-Market (GTM), Retail and Payments, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Legal, etc.) to drive the quality partner experience and ensure product excellence.
  • Drive end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration which includes negotiating and finalizing agreements, executing on account plans, pitching agreements to partners, resolving partner issues and advocating on behalf of partners.
  • Drive partner strategy, including new partners and opportunity prospecting. Conduct market landscape and industry research and collaborate on product strategy.
