Senior Product Manager, Post Training Research

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or a business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience applying Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), Supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and model distillation to bridge the gap between the research breakthroughs (like multi-turn reasoning) and safe, reliable product features.
  • Experience leading a generative AI product from concept to Product-Market Fit, including defining GTM strategies and managing early-stage partner relationships.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional Research, Engineering, and Legal teams to drive the road maps in early-stage environments.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development from, taking the ownership to will ambiguous concepts like multi-turn reasoning and agent collaboration into existence.
  • Develop a technical understanding of the core AI technologies to guide product decisions and collaborate closely with engineering and research teams.
  • Define and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, ensuring successful adoption, integration, and value realization for our internal partners and customers. This includes managing partnerships across Mountain View (MTV) and multiple time zones.
  • Drive portfolio-level product strategy, business outcomes, and executive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Influence product definition and feature prioritization by conducting market research and synthesizing engaging needs to shape a product road map.
