Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with legal technology assessments and implementing Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) software solutions.
  • Experience with in-house legal departments, legal operations, legal operation consulting, or a relevant industry/discipline.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across Legal, Legal Operations, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs in an organization.
  • Experience in a customer or business-user facing role delivering projects.
  • Experience helping teams measure and improve operational, product, equity, and accessibility.
  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and execute road-map to optimize the Enterprise Legal Management program, including a wide range of business process, data and technology assessments, and requirements gathering and prioritization, design planning, and implementation.
  • Lead the initiation, execution, and delivery of process, data and technology projects to streamline managing the life of matter, outside counsel spend, and enable Legal Department leaders, lawyers, finance and operations with reporting and analytics.
  • Identify and articulate business priorities and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
  • Work with the engineering and product teams to influence designs and road-maps across solutions.
  • Integrate finance applications with Enterprise Legal Management to enable budgeting, accrual, and forecasting with reporting and insights.
