Minimum qualifications:

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a YouTube Strategic Partner Manager, you are a builder and industry shaper who grows in a fast-paced environment. You will navigate internal processes and product landscapes to manage and deepen the strategically important portfolio of Creator and Creator Agency partnerships. You are responsible for executing high-stakes agreements, tracking impact, and driving the broader partner strategy. Your role will require a blend of negotiation intrinsics, project management excellence, and cross-functional collaboration across YouTube and Global Business Organization (GBO). You will manage external accounts and act as an internal advocate and subject matter expert on creator ecosystem and monetization, contributing to the identification of new business opportunities and the development of ecosystem initiatives such as Creator Shopping Affiliate programs and Brand Deals, and fan driven monetization. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for high-stakes partners (top creators, creator agencies), managing engagement, tracking business metrics, and ensuring brand reputation as their primary platform.
  • Identify opportunities to scale the ecosystem and lead shaping and execution of key initiatives (for example: initiatives at the scale of Brand Deals, Shopping, Fan driven monetization, and other upcoming initiatives), including pivoting existing partnerships or launching new initiatives to address market shifts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Go-To-Market ,Marketing and PR teams to align resources and ensure product excellence and growth opportunities for creators.
  • Address technical and business inquiries using various problem-solving approaches to reach optimal outcomes for both Google and the partner.
  • Execute industry research to inform product strategy and manage account priorities and resource allocation.
