Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (Italian, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in an advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling in the Italian market.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing with knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Italy, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Excellent thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow medium and large sized businesses in Italy. Through long-term relationship development, we are dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

In this role, you will be a front-line seller for high potential clients, focusing primarily on C- and B-level relationship building. Using your collaborating skills, industry and marketing experience, and business acumen, you will help to shape and evolve client objectives and identify opportunities for future client growth. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and investigative abilities will enable you to design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. Using relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly revenue and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
