Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience in server-side programming, Java, and databases.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience deploying and managing servers in production
- Experience delivering production-quality code to support backend infrastructure.
- Experience in software development for telephony, voice, and video communication platforms.

- Participate in the design and implementation of Google Voice backend infrastructure components.
- Support Google Voice production servers by engaging in client release, triage, maintenance, and reliability processes.
- Build new and enhanced features, including AI-driven capabilities, for Google Voice business and consumer users.
- Develop long-term infrastructure and frameworks to improve reliability, performance, operational efficiency, and developer velocity.
- Create seamless user experiences that integrate workspace products, including voice, meet, and calendar.
