Product Manager, Cloud Capacity Planning

  • Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, and other software infrastructure areas.

  • Experience collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and partners.
  • Ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a part of the Cloud Capacity Planning team, you will be the primary position of a new Cloud product area. The role will involve overseeing various aspects of the Capacity Planning in the Cloud Space for Machines and Power. The role is to help build products that enable the operations of a fluid and high business growth large scale environment through policy management. The role also involves supporting New Product Introductions seamlessly into this planning system.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to define the product outlook and strategy for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capacity planning.
  • Engage regularly with product area leaders to understand needs and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into the roadmap and managing expectations.
  • Define user journeys, and enhance the roadmap to accelerate customer adoption and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and other internal Google teams to drive product and delivery success.
  • Define metrics to assess the performance - focusing on value, usage, and satisfaction.
