Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in (growth, performance, direct response, social, digital, cloud, events, etc.) marketing.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing ambiguous programs under pressure with tight timelines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to contribute in a cross-functional environment and with competing stakeholder ideas.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly, persuasively and with influence.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships and achieve shared goals across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven stakeholder management and executive presence.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Working with senior internal stakeholders and the CxO, Thought Leadership Content Manager, you will support content across CXO events for Google Cloud bringing a ‘Google One’ approach to thought leadership working cross-functionally across product areas. The primary focus of this role will be on Google Cloud CxO events (e.g., Leaders Circle at Next, Spring, Leaders Circle Fall) and One Google CxO events (Cannes, Davos) where Cloud content is leveraged at key sessions and experiences within the larger event.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Google and Google Cloud businesses priorities by producing thought leadership content for CXO partners and clients at our top CXO events.
  • Act as subject matter expert globally on speakers who will be of interest to the identified CXO audience. 
  • Maintain a strong grasp of AI and technology-focused speakers, and their perspectives on AI prior to pitching. Navigate internal processes and secure necessary approvals from comms and Government Affairs & Public Policy teams. 
  • Project manage the speaker booking process from top to bottom.
