Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Java.
  • Experience with Android development.
  • Experience with API design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience with Chrome OS and backend development.
  • Experience with ArcVM on ChromeOS.
  • Experience with third-party SDK integration.
  • Experience with enterprise device management systems.

With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. As a part of the Google Beam team, you'll work with incredible teammates across all major functions in a fast-paced product-oriented environment. Your contributions will have an impact on the future of communications with Google products. You will apply technology to solve that really important problem that we often want to be together and we can’t.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools and services that enable enterprise admins and IT support to purchase, set up, and manage Google Beam stations.
  • Build backend services and device-side API/SDK integrations with third-party partners to support functionalities such as device setup and enrollment, end-to-end device management, policy settings, software update control, and commerce and licensing.
  • Integrate with Google Workspace, Zoom, and HP fleet management backend and UI consoles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to define and create user experience.
