Field Sales Representative, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with solutions for the United States (US) National Security Government customers that operate in regulated/secure operating environments.
  • Experience working with and managing industry partner relationships, including global / federal system integrators and independent software vendors.
  • Experience engaging with the Federal Systems Integrators that support US National Security Government customers.
  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

In this role, you will focus on new client acquisition. You will collaborate with extended teams to devise strategies to acquire specific segments of the market. You will also educate prospective and current clients on the opportunities within their business sector.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$240,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with the U.S. Special Operations Forces customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Discuss and manage the entire business cycle and present the findings to C-level executives.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, and work with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results in territory.
  • Understand the customer technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and business landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
