Partner Engineer, Security, Google Cloud (Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
  • Experience with Security and Compliance technologies, e.g. Cloud Identity and Access Management, network security, data security, regulatory compliance frameworks, or creating security architectures.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish to work with Partners and customers in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building strategic business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
  • Experience with virtualization or containerization platforms and migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Security products and solutions.
  • Experience with networking concepts, and conducting partner CTO/technical engagements.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, and working cross-functionally, in a collaborative, fluid environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

As a Specialist Partner Engineer specialized in Security and Compliance, you will work with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud Security and Compliance partner ecosystem. Specialist Partner Engineers understand the technical solutions and capabilities of partners and are in the best position to recommend the right partner to the customers.

In this role, you will lead Security and Compliance efforts to enable partners with technical knowledge in Security and Compliance technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud Security and Compliance services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate from competitors, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, data migration, application migration, and deployment phase, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Enable partners in prototype and demonstrate product integrations, and guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s). Support partners developing solutions, ensuring the best use of Google Cloud.
  • Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Work with Partner Managers and Product Experts (PE) to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver innovative and complete solutions to customers. Onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive successful pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
  • Build technical assets, collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products.
  • Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams, and developing relationships.
