Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.
- Experience with executive communication.
- Experience building, developing, and leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing analytics projects from inception to delivery including developing structured solutions, with the ability to distill data into a story.
- Experience working in Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at a fast paced/high growth technology company.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams through problem-framing, problem-structuring, and project management, with the ability to communicate insights to technical management teams.
- Knowledge of analytics techniques and capabilities, with experience developing solutions to issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and manage recommended actions.

You are both a manager and a mentor, providing financial leadership and analytical support to partners of the core Finance team as well as giving your own team the support they need to become financial experts. You'll keep management informed on key financial metrics and work to improve financial operation practices throughout your region.
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will support all aspects related to central Financial Planning and Analysis including: Annual Operating Plan, consolidation of the cloud business results, and delivering financial and business insights to executive leadership. This role will partner with peers throughout Google Cloud/Google to develop resource allocation models and frameworks to support Google Cloud’s growth. This role will help drive alignment and consistency by providing common ROI and P&L frameworks to Cloud Finance Business Partners. This role will be responsible for building processes to support the hyper growth within Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead and support annual planning processes for Google Cloud, develop frameworks for generating granular product and regional Profit and Loss, and lead and manage the financial operating cadence for Google Cloud.
- Prepare quarterly board and earnings materials in partnership with controllership and investor relations, develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs and reports to ensure Cloud leaders have timely insights into financial and business performance, and support leadership decision making by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Mentor and manage a high performing team of analysts.
- Work cross-functionally with other finance managers and leaders supporting go-to-market, Engineering, Controllership, and Corporate Finance to align on data input and assumptions.
- Perform ad hoc analysis including bookings progress, gross margin trends, headcount and hiring status, opex trends, and other operational metrics.
