Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with and understanding of AI/ML and LLMs (applications, prompt engineering, training and evals, quality etc.).
- Comfortable working across cross-functional (XFN) teams to ship products at high velocity and with high scrutiny.
- Exceptional attention to detail in your work products.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners across the Workspace organization.

As a Product Manager for Gmail Search AI Overviews, you will execute the strategy for one of Google’s critical AI bets. You will integrate Gemini into Gmail’s search and discovery surfaces, fundamentally changing how users engage with personal content.
In this role, you will scale AI overviews that provide personalized insights and help users achieve goals faster. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to solve complex problems at scale.
You will leverage your experience in building and deploying AI at scale. You should be passionate about applying AI to real-world problems to craft magical experiences for millions of users. You will play a key role in defining the next era of Google AI, making Gmail more helpful for billions worldwide.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of new AI capabilities in Gmail AI Search, balancing immediate user needs with long-term investments in model performance and architectural scalability.
- Build evaluation strategies to measure the accuracy of Search AI experiences, and partner with engineers to drive quality and ensure user experience.
- Evolve the front end user experience of Gmail Search to adapt to emerging AI model capabilities.
- Partner with engineering, UX, and core AI teams to align on a shared roadmap and navigate the technical dependencies.
- Develop an understanding of Gmail users and workflows through research and data to inform Gmail Search AI roadmap.
