Technical Lead manager, Pitching and Reporting Collateral

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience with distributed processing and infrastructure systems.
  • Experience in backend development and using Java.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a multi-engineer team developing middle-layer and Back-end development for the end user products.
  • Experience with people leadership and direct reports (Tech Lead Manager, Engagement Manager, or Team Lead).
  • Experience in building a centralized software solution that interacts with multiple client teams with varying priorities.
  • Experience in Frontend web product development and using languages like Angular, Dart, React, TypeScript.
  • Knowledge in Advertising.

About the job

In this role, you will build and provide sales teams, agencies, and advertisers with solutions in creating compelling collaterals and pitches that resonate with decision makers and motivate them to increase and shift their advertising budgets to Google. We understand that high-quality, compliant, up-to-date insights, analysis, and story lines are essential for effective business pitches, and we provide the tools and solutions to make this process seamless and efficient. Additionally, Pitching and Reporting Collateral (PARC) often serve as launch blockers when Google introduces new advertising products, emphasizing their importance.

You will oversee and build the full solutions, including the back-end infrastructure, Application programming interface (API) and multiple front-end surfaces including a collateral generation platform as well as direct integrations into several internal and external tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain across Back-end, API, and Front-end metrics.
  • Build, and manage a new team in Warsaw and set cultural, organizational, and technical foundations.
  • Carry forward the Pitching and Reporting Collateral (PARC) mission currently driven by the Los Angeles team.
  • Build and maintain successful collaborations with clients, partners and stakeholders across multiple geographies and multiple organisations, this includes managing priorities and trade-offs.
  • Define visions, roadmaps, and successfully execute for short and long term projects, in close collaboration with cross-functions, such as Program Managers, User Experience (UX), etc.
