Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer, Privacy Web Ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with JavaScript.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience with industry advertising solutions, including targeting, remarketing, measurement and reporting, or experience working with the ad tech ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of the major tools, technologies (front and back-end) and challenges facing web developers.
  • Ability to distill disparate observations into structured insights / feedback and trend reports.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and experience writing detailed technical documentation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the web and ad-tech ecosystems for major changes Chrome will be making to improve privacy on the web, including the planned third-party cookie depreciation.
  • Drive early testing and adoption of Privacy Sandbox APIs while collecting, synthesizing and sharing early partner feedback with Chrome product and engineering teams. 
  • Provide technical and consultative support to web partners to help them prepare, implement, test and migrate to new Privacy Sandbox APIs, while satisfying business needs.
  • Understand and represent the various interests and needs of a diverse set of partner, platform and ad-tech verticals (e.g. News, Commerce, CMS, CDNs).
  • Work on integration solutions across multiple products and teams. Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders.
