Product Technology Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in the product management or program management.
  • 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python), developing web applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Typescript.
  • Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fluid environment along with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions to business problems.

gTech’s Analytics, Products and Tools team (gAPT) leverages deep user
insights and gen AI technology to improve or automate Google's Ads customer support experiences. gAPT partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to simplify our Ads support products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users. We are leaders of the customer experience, advocating for big-picture visions, feature requests, and offering product improvements backed by data-driven insights. Our work enables gTech teams to deliver delightful support to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business problems and solve those problems.
  • Build and work on product architectures and solution road maps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of our stakeholders.
  • Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before deployment.
  • Perform implementation reviews, promote new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other Analytical teams to access data for operational reporting and data visualization.
